Is there an app that reads my calendar and email and writes me a morning brief?
Yes. Mitamaton, an iPhone app, writes you a short morning brief from your calendar, your inbox, and your sleep.
It is written in plain language, not a dashboard. A typical brief reads like something a person would say: today looks calm, two meetings with a long open stretch between them, one email needs a reply before the review.
How it works
Overnight and through the morning, Mitamaton reads the calendars you allow, the inbox you connect, and, if you permit it, your sleep from Apple Health. It assembles one short note, ready when you wake. When the day changes underneath you, the brief updates and says what changed.
What it needs
Each source is optional and asked for separately. Calendar access gives the day its shape, Gmail adds the emails that matter, and Health tunes the tone to how you slept. It works with whatever you grant.
What it will not do
It never sends anything on its own, and it does not ping you all day. The brief waits for you to look.
